£20,493 - £23,080 - pro-rata (approx. £15,500 - £17,500)

part-time 32.5 hrs per week term time only

Carlton Digby is an Outstanding (Ofsted March 2020) special school in the heart of Mapperley, which supports young people with a wide range of learning needs: including Complex Autism, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Severe Learning Difficulties, to achieve their learning potential. We value the use of technology to promote learning in school and to expand areas of interest for leisure. We wish to further advance our use of this medium. To raise awareness of, and support access to, emerging developments in this area that will support the development of our young people in communication and learning.

We are looking for a person with the expertise and enthusiasm to develop our provision. To work alongside classroom staff across the full age range. To gain a knowledge of our young people’s needs and promote the use of assistive technology to develop their skills and access to learning. To research innovative technology developments and promote their appropriate use in school. To support staff development in this area.

We are excited to advertise this ‘niche’ post in school and look forward to hearing from potential candidates.
