At Carlton Digby School, we enjoy being part of our local community.

We have links with two local churches, St James Methodist and Westdale Lane Baptist. We hold carol concerts and harvest festivals at these churches and members of the church come into school and take assemblies.

We have links with the local primary school, Westdale Infants and Juniors, and pupils at Carlton Digby have visited their school to view performances. Some pupils from Westdale use the facilities at Carlton Digby School.

The pupils enjoy getting out and about and visiting the local shops and coffee shops to encourage them to work on their life skills and Independence.

The school Governors play a huge part in the running of the school and attend school regularly for meetings and to visit classes to see what children are learning throughout the year. Governors also attend different celebration events.
